TheProblem
Renting a vehicle to travel around Indonesia was the part of a trip most likely to go wrong, which is why the product's own slogan is #GaPakeRibet — roughly "no hassle". Booking meant back-and-forth messaging rather than a price and a date you could confirm yourself.
What was actually available, and when, was rarely clear before committing, and payment and pickup terms were arranged case by case, so no two rentals worked the same way.
TheSolution
Make renting a vehicle a booking rather than a negotiation: real vehicles at real prices, filterable by date before anything is committed, with the whole rental — choose, schedule, pay, collect — inside one flow.
Cover both cars and motorcycles, since the trip decides the vehicle and not the other way round, on a design system and brand identity settled early enough that the product reads as one thing across thirty-plus screens.
TheProcess

Research
Research
Researching what people actually complain about in the tourism and travel world, so the product answered a real grievance rather than an assumed one.

User flow
User flow
Mapping the path through the app to fix the direction the design had to take before any screen existed.

Wireframe
Wireframe
Turning the ideas and the research into a design — structure first, decoration later.

Design system
Design system
Building the design and settling the type style and the brand identity, so every screen after was assembled from the same parts.

Prototype
Prototype
An interactive model of more than thirty screens — the app as it would behave, not as it would look.
